Midleton Silent Distillery 47 Year Old Chapter Three

Chapter Three of the Midleton Silent Distillery series honours the last casks filled before Old Midleton's stills fell silent. This 47-year-old Irish single malt, bottled at 55.7% ABV, is presented in a hand-crafted Waterford crystal decanter. On the nose, leather, pipe tobacco and sticky cherries come forward, while the palate offers dark-roast coffee, dried fruit and crushed hazelnut. Read more
