Paul John is an Indian single malt whisky from Goa, produced by John Distilleries and named after the company's founder, Paul P. John. The whisky is crafted with Indian six-row barley and matured in Goa's warm, tropical conditions, where casks develop rapidly and the angel's share is notably high. This creates a generous, concentrated style for Paul John, often displaying ripe tropical fruit, honeyed malt, spice, vanilla and toasted oak, with peated expressions adding a drier, coastal smoke.
