Bushmills Whiskey

Bushmills is one of the most famous names in Irish whiskey, and its history is closely linked with the long distilling tradition of County Antrim. The 1608 date associated with the brand refers to the area's original licence to distil, while the Old Bushmills Distillery itself traces its own establishment to the eighteenth century. Today Bushmills positions itself as the world's oldest licensed whiskey distillery and continues to develop its identity around that remarkably long history.

Bushmills highlights that its malt whiskey is at the core of the range, and today describes itself as one of the few grain-to-glass distilleries in Ireland, with malt distilling, maturing, blending and bottling all conducted on one site.

Bushmills is most recognised by many drinkers for its blends, especially Bushmills Original and Black Bush, but its single malts are also fundamental to the distillery's reputation. The classic aged range continues to include the 10, 16 and 21 Year Old expressions, and the house style remains distinctly smooth and fruit-forward, with honey, vanilla and soft orchard-fruit character helping to shape the profile.
