Grosperrin holds a distinctive position in Cognac as an independent family house focused not on large-scale production, but on the selection, maturation and bottling of rare individual eaux-de-vie. Established by Jean Grosperrin and now headed by Guilhem Grosperrin, the maison has built its reputation on sourcing exceptional casks from throughout the region, often from small growers and old private stocks that would otherwise have vanished into anonymous blends.

This approach gives Grosperrin something of the character of an independent bottler in whisky.
