Estève Cognac

Famille Estève is a long-established, family-run Cognac producer based in Petite Champagne, where the estate vineyards extend to around 45 hectares. With roots said to run back through seven generations, the house is known for a traditional, independent approach and a strong focus on estate character rather than large-scale blending.

The range is built primarily around older Cognacs, reflecting a preference for maturity, depth and slow development in oak. Petite Champagne delivers structure and finesse, while the house style leans towards richer, more settled flavours that suit long ageing particularly well.

Grande Tradition remains one of the younger expressions from the house, but Estève is best recognised for bottlings that move further into the old and very old categories, where the family's patient, cellar-focused approach is most clearly demonstrated.
